ABOUT PANTAY
WHO WE ARE
Para sa pangarap nating Pilipinas.
Para sa pagkakapantay-pantay.
PANTAY, like the Filipino word equal, is a registered
youth-led lobbying movement of young people with diverse SOGIESC,
student-led, school-based formations, sectoral formations,
and community-based civil society organizations that
advocate for progressive, gender-transformative legislation.
PANTAY promotes equality, respect for human rights,
nondiscrimination, and nonviolence.
IS YOUR SCHOOL INCLUSIVE?
The Gender Equality Index in Schools or GEIS is an initiative by PANTAY, Pride Philippines, and the Commission on Human Rights, with the generous assistance of the Embassy of Netherlands, strives to craft an index for SOGIESC inclusion in Philippine academic institutions.
The Rainbow Report Card is a groundbreaking tool created in collaboration with students of diverse SOGIESC, education stakeholders, and relevant national government agencies (NGA). This card's indicators evaluate SOGIESC inclusion and present suggestions for SOGIESC-responsive reforms.
The Students For Equality is a growing national network of young equality champions from student-led, school-based organizations, student councils, and youth-led, community-based organizations that advocate for equality, respect for human rights, and safe spaces in the Philippines.
